Bass player, in to jazz and jazz fusion. Have a day job, so would like to rehearse weekday evenings, with a view to gigging once to three times a month .
Looking to form a jazz / jazz fusion trio or quartet.
Am already in a band currently, but have the time for another one which I am actively seeking members for now. Can commit to once a week rehearsal.

Influences
Grew up listening and playing to a lot of prog rock - so initially Geddy Lee, Chris Squier, John Deacon - any bands with prominent, melodic bass.
On the Jazz front -

and the music of Miles Davis, John Coltrane and Herbie Hancock
On the fusion front:

Allan Holdsworth, Miles and Herbie again..Jeff Beck, Steely Dan
