Looking for a band in the Swindon area either singing or playing guitar. Love classic rock, blues rock, the lighter side of metal and Bowie. There's a vid of me singing with our old band Powerload, a Bon Scott era AC/DC band. The other vids are various recordings of me playing to backing tracks. There are some very basic recordings of me singing to various tracks and they're not meant to be demo pieces so don't be put off by the poor recordings. There's no pro tools, delay, compression etc. Just me singing into a phone while driving but it gives an idea of how I will sound at my worst :) Can play guitar to gig standard rhythm and lead and pretty comfortable having a crack at singing most classic rock, especially AC/DC, Free, Faces, Creedence etc. but flexible enough in range to cover Iron Maiden, Sabbath etc. and even my personal favourite David Bowie.
The songs listed below are ones I've played and adapted for a single guitarist but as close as the original as necessary and I play rhythm and lead on all of them. It's not an exhaustive list as I have played a lot of other songs but these are just songs I'm most familiar with that I play to keep my hand in and it's around 3 hrs worth :-
