I'm singer/songwriter in the band Vanity Tapes, currently recording our second album and playing shows in London. I'm also recording a solo album at home.
I've been developing much more music recently which fits neither of the above. I'm therefore keen to collaborate with a female singer/lyricist to write new songs to record and play live.
The music I am writing is mainly based around fingerpicked guitars, I guess it could be labelled alt-folk. There are ten rough demos to listen to on the player above.
This time around I really want a fresh approach for the vocals and words, so would not be looking to be lead singer or lyricist (though I can sing harmony). I'm therefore looking to work with a creative female singer who can come up with vocal melodies and lyrics.
