I'm singer/songwriter in the band Vanity Tapes, currently recording our debut album. I'm also recording a solo album at home during this pandemic.
I've been developing much more music recently which fits neither of the above. I'm therefore keen to collaborate with a female singer/lyricist to write and record new songs remotely during the pandemic, and play live in the future.
The music I am writing is mainly based around fingerpicked guitars, I guess it could be labelled alt-folk (there are some rough demos on here). This time round I really want a fresh approach for the vocals and words, so would not be looking to be lead singer or lyricist. I'm therefore looking to work with a creative female singer who can come up with the vocal melodies and lyrics.
