Hi I am a 23 year old guy living and working in the centre of Sheffield, I have had a number of projects over the years but none have stuck due to band members moving etc. I am a mid level guitarist and write my own vocals, vocal style is Ian Curtis-like. I am looking for a guitarist, bassist and drummer (any level,I'm still learning too) to start a punk rock band ASAP. I have some songs written and a general idea of the direction I want to go in. Influences are joy division, echo and the bunnymen, Nick Cave, talking heads, sonic youth. This should give you an idea to what the music I'm writing sounds like. Would be up for rehearsals a few times a week and am keen to get into the live circuit as soon as. But mostly just want to hang out with some like minded people and create something I am proud of.
