I started playing piano and keyboards when I was 7 and have been playing ever since. In my earlier years I used to gig a lot, playing in bands, my own quartet and also cocktail piano in posh restaurants. A long time ago I was Grade 8 in piano and clarinet and I later went on to do a Performers' LTCL in clarinet. However, playing by ear is my real forte.
