I am a 40-year-old singer-songwriter and frontwoman with a catalogue of over 50 original tracks, working alongside my music therapist and collaborator Mae Bradbury. My background includes local radio DJing, hosting a music podcast on Spotify (including exclusive backstage interviews with The Bluetones), and gigging at Moles with Jed Elliott of The Struts.My main project is Purple Leather. The sound blends high-energy alternative rock anthems, fierce Courtney Love-style punk, and cinematic pop-ballads. We are actively looking for a Drummer, Bassist, Lead Guitarist, and Keyboardist to complete the lineup for live gigs and recording. We have highly conceptual EP artwork ready and launch tracks being recorded right now at the Pound Arts Centre.
