Check me out on YouTube, username jenevastorme -- I am primarily a vocalist. I have been singing for most of my life, playing acoustic guitar intermittently since childhood and fiddle since my 30s. My vocal style has been compared to Joan Baez, Joni Mitchell and Jewel. I play a fingerpicking rhythm style of guitar that goes well with a variety of folk music. My lead fiddle playing is mostly of the Celtic folk type. I can do some improvising, though I am much better at learning a tune than coming up with one. My vocal range is in the high alto to low soprano range, though when I'm in good form and practicing regularly it gets broader.
