Check me out on YouTube, username jenevastorme -- I am primarily a vocalist. I have been singing for most of my life, playing acoustic guitar since age 10, and playing fiddle and bodhran for several years. My vocal style has been compared to Joan Baez, Joni Mitchell and Jewel. I play a fingerpicking rhythm style of guitar that goes well with a variety of folk music. My lead fiddle playing is mostly of the Celtic folk type. My vocal range is in the high alto to low soprano range, though when I'm in good form and practicing regularly it gets broader. I can play bodhran (Irish drum), but I don't currently have one.

Looks Like Mona Lisa
Looks Like Mona Lisa Year: 2005 Genre: Folk
Cover of a Michelle Shocked song. Another rough go, but it gives an idea of what I can do with voice and guitar.
Anchorage Year: 2005 Genre: Folk
Another Michelle Shocked cover. I really like this one, it's fun to play and sing.
Too Much Time
Too Much Time Year: 2005 Genre: Folk
A Cosy Sheridan cover. I like her music because it falls nicely within my vocal range, as well as having evocative lyrics. This one displays my guitar abilities a bit.
Eoghainin O'Ragadain Year: 2005 Genre: Celtic
Cover of a song by Altan. A rough go, each track was recorded in one cold take, but I just wanted an example of me playing and singing in harmony with myself.
