Jason and the Donovans are putting together a high-energy professional show band based around Kent / South East London.

This is not a Jason Donovan tribute act. The name is part of the concept.

The idea is simple: take guilty-pleasure pop, forgotten classics and songs people secretly love, then rebuild them as big, serious, swaggering rock / brass-powered anthems.

Think driving guitars, massive hooks, big choruses, strong grooves, theatrical live energy and a punchy horn section that lifts everything into full show mode.

The aim is not to be a casual pub covers band. The long-term target is a proper professional live act built for bigger stages, festivals, theatres, events and ticketed nights — a band that sounds big, looks sharp, and delivers with confidence, fun and swagger.

We’re looking for musicians who love groove and power equally. Players who can lock in, serve the song, learn parts properly, and still enjoy the theatre and energy of a glam-leaning rock show.

Good people matter as much as good players. No egos, no drama — just solid musicians who want to build something exciting, ambitious, fun and sustainable.
