Jan is a seasoned drummer, mix engineer and producer based in London, UK. With a rich background in drumming music production, and audio engineering, Jan's passion for music has been honed over twelve years of dedicated practice and performance.

Jan holds a BA Honours in Audio Production from SAE Institute and an MA in Commercial Music Production from Tileyard, both earned within the past three years of residing in London.

Throughout Jan's career, he has collaborated with numerous talented artists across a spectrum of projects, showcasing expertise in studio session and live drumming, multitrack recording, audio mixing, songwriting, co-writing, composition, and music production. However, Jan's true forte lies in their mastery of drums, bringing a rhythmic energy that elevates every recording and live performance.

Drawing inspiration from legendary drummers such as Ricky Lawson and Steve Gadd, Tony Royster Jr and Chiic Drummer: Ralph Rolle whom he has had classes with, Jan infuses his own unique style into every project. Hiis influences also extend to artists like Boy Harsher and The Weeknd, with a comfortability in crafting deep musical soundscapes with powerful melodies.

With a diverse background playing in various bands and performing on stages across Europe and the UK, Jan brings a wealth of experience and creativity to each collaboration. Their ability to merge genres and their unwavering dedication to the craft make Jan an invaluable asset to any musical endeavor.

As a drummer I am most influenced by artists such as:
Ricky Lawson, Steve Gadd, Phil Collins, Mark Royster Jr, JD Beck, Larnel Lewis, Mark Guiliana, Jeff Porcaro, and many more. Very comfortable playing Funk, RnB, Soul, 70s Disco, Indie Rock, Grunge, Rock, Pop, Folk, Latin and Acoustic music.

As a producer, I will always attempt to create whatever the artist's vision desires. For my personal producer project, my influences fall somewhere between the darkwave sound of Boy Harsher and the cinematic huge synths and smooth vocals of The Weeknd.
