ABOUT

I played a lot of bass while I was younger, though mostly just for fun. It then fell by the wayside somewhat and in the last 5 years I've rekindled my love for the instrument.

I currently play in a "just for fun" band covering pop punk and 2000's rock and hard rock, so anything from Greenday and Sum41 to Linkin Park and Paramore.

I've also played in a group producing original alt rock music that sadly is no more and I played in a prolific party covers band but needed to step back from this as I couldn't commit to their busy schedule alongside the two other bands.

I find myself with some free time now so I'm looking for another group that is in need of a bass player. Ideally, either a hard rock project or perhaps some sort of 90's britpop group. But I'm certainly open to other genres! I would be looking to gig once every three to four weeks and I'm happy to attend rehearsals every week.

Influences

Love listening to progressive rock /metal with Tool, Lucid Planet, Porcupine Tree being up there with my favourites.

However, I love playing music with a beat that gets people moving, more rock, punk rock, classic rock, some pop etc.

Some people that influence my playing style would be;
Robert DeLeo - Stone Temple Pilots
Alex James - Blur
Mike Inez - Alice in Chains
Guy Pratt - Pink Floyd/Various
