We are a new Sheffield band looking for a drummer. The music we play is along the lines of the foals/bombay cycle club/wulyf. We consist of singer/rhythm guitarist, Lead guitar and bass. We're looking for a drummer that wants to play the same sort of music, who is enthusiastic and easy to work with.
We've written roughly 4 tracks now without drums and really want to get someone involved so we can play tramlines in July as our opening gig. I've popped a sample of what we're doing on here for you guys to listen to (without drums obviously) which is recorded using my iPhone in the room, but if you are interested drop me an email: james_rodgers@me
If you wanna join you'll need to be available evenings/weekends and we try to practice twice a week. We're not after a super amazing drummer just someone who wants to play the music we do and have a laugh. They will also need to be willing to contribute to practice room rent. We have a practice room in the centre of sheffield above club 60 which we have access to 24/7.
Ideally we'd like someone between the ages of 18-30.
