Hi, I’m James. Im a drummer from stoke who’s moved to liverpool for university I’ve been playing for 12 years and for the last year and a half have been gigging around 2-3 times a week every week I have recorded in a studio before and even recorded a music video too. I have experience of playing with many different musicians and wanting to expand on that too and try to get in a band to gig with in liverpool and maybe right originals. I am starting to learn guitar and have wrote a couple of songs on there that need finishing too if anyone could help with that would be muchly appreciated.

Influences
My influences are mainly from old rock bands. Neil pert is my greatest inspiration along with Tommy Aldridge both drummers are incredible seen both of them live and just watched in amazement. There’s a few more drummers too but there my top two.

EQUIPMENT
I have a gorgeous 1980s Pearl export 7 piece kit in yellow with dream, zildjian and paiste cymbals with a mean double bass drum pedal, my snare in a classic premier royal from around the 60s I think. I love my kit have had it since I started playing as a kid. Other equipment I have I have a Focusrite Scarlett 18i20 for recording or playing live ,full drum mics, few guitars, bass guitar and a few keyboards. I also have Logic Pro on my MacBook to record with my interface.
