I'm James, I'm 20 and I currently live in Hammersmith. I'm originally from the North East but moved down to London to study Physics at Imperial College London. The main reason for moving down to London though is the great music scene compared with the North East, and I really wanted to start a band at uni but no-one seemed that interested (I think they're more bothered with their studies, which is kinda the opposite for me!).
I play both the guitar and drums, but I'm formally taught to grade 7 on the guitar whereas I'm self-taught on the drums. I'm really looking to create a serious band that'll get gigs around London and hopefully beyond! I'm very open to musical styles, and like playing everything from rock and blues to more jazzy and funky kinda songs. I'd love to get a group together with different musical styles and make something new and fresh!
The house I currently live in has a small-ish basement with an electric drumkit, amps and mic's which is great for practising and just having jams in, and my housemates are pretty laid back when it comes to making loads of noise!
