ABOUT
18 yr old guy looking to form a band in solihull or the surrounding area. i play guitar and have for about for about 10 yrs and I also sing, can do both or either as a role in the band...undecided and flexible atm.
Looking for dedicated, loyal, honest, creative, passionate, bold characters to join me on the 100+ songs I have already written and those that will be written in the future. Must gel well with the band as I believe that to be the fundamental foundation for a sucessful band. Skill isn't imperitive but it helps to have a good understanding, but raw talent is interesting.
Through my music I attempt to explore and play with all styles of music, teasing the audience and taking them on a journey with lots of flavour. Don't wish to be tied down to one type of music, when there's so much to conquer and play for- literally.
Huge Stones fan, so anybody who likes them will get on with me just fine! Look to them as role models, for their personalities, perfect music, dedication, longevity and achievments... to be like them in 50 years is the aim! This to me is more than a hobby. This is what I feel I was born for, and something I want to do for life. I know most teens say that but I really feel compelled and drawn to this as the only way in life for me- 9-5 aint an option. So from me you can get all the above, but nothing more than passion and drive and determination to succeed, reach my goals, get my music made and out to the people I wrote it for. If you just want this as a side-line and want to jump on the waggon (headed for success ;)) and half heartedly wanna do this when you have time, this aint for you. I do believe I will make it, but i'm just missing the band... so if your ready let's go.
I have possible venues for gigs, and a good fan base though they don't know it yet...I'll explain later! Any sex, instruments, styles, influences and ages will be concidered, all that is immaterial to me, i'm looking for personalities who you can go on the road with, and have a good onstage and offstage banter/relationship. Unique, different, exciting who don't go with the flow and know what they want outta life are most attractive to me.
