I'm Jacob Devo, I'm 20 years old and I'm a Singer looking to start a four piece/three piece Indie rock band, I have written some lyrics so far and would love to be able to create music. My influences are very much late 80's - 90's Indie Rock Bands. Don't worry if you don't know how to play instruments, what matters is that you love music and care about making music that will really matter to others. I've thought about what else I want to do with my life, and I keep drawing blanks.
Getting into music changed my life, and if it changed yours too. That's exactly what I'm looking for. I'll be honest I haven't got the first clue how to play an instrument, but I'd be willing to learn to play backing guitar. If we don't know anything about instruments we'll learn from making mistakes. Punk rock was doing it 40 odd years ago so why need we be any different :) Age range for band members would be from 17 - 27.
Finally, it would be great to have Mates with the same aspiration and interest, weird people tend to be the ones that make the big leaps in the world, so if you like weird music and you're a bit of a misfit, get in touch!
