ABOUT

I am a full time professional musician. Have been playing drums professionally for about 16 years.
In that time I have recorded on around 13 Albums with different artists encompassing many different musical genres. I have studied Jazz, Classical, Traditional African and Latin American music. Also I have played in a wide range of live bands from Punk and Hard Rock to Dub, electronic and live Drum n Bass.
In 1999 I received the highest accolade in the New Zealand music Awards for "Best Drummer".
I currently play live and in studio with "Spektrum", and "Filthy Dukes Live", and am also available for freelance work both live and in Studio, on acoustic and electronic drums and percussion.

Too many to note, but seeing Stewart Copeland from "The police" live when I was about 8 years old really got me thirst going. These days I draw influence from anything I see, hear or touch. The sound of a car crash, tennis rackets, techno, engine pistons, and drummers who have a gret natural feel no matter how technically advanced they may be...
