Hi there, I am a vocalist looking for other like-minded and friendly musicians to write and play with. I have limited experience of performing with a band, but I have been involved in musical theatre and acting all of my life, so I suppose I have gained experience of the stage in that way. However, the music I want to be playing now is a little different from musical theatre. I am a huge fan of all things experimental and would love to create sound of that caliber, that of early industrial/noise, full of strange sounds, echoey guitars and wacky dada-esque imagery. Being massively inspired by the early 80s post-punk movement, I guess I just want to create sound that makes people stop and think, that unsettles, but I know that this can be done in a number of ways with a number of genres, so am not limiting myself to one genre only. Basically I'm looking for people who aren't afraid to role with weird sh*t and see where it takes them. Would love to gig on a more professional level, but am more than happy to just play music for fun also.
