SEEKING

Vocalist, Trombone.

ABOUT

34.

Excellent writer; the best in Wales or Swansea depending on taste ;-) Very strong vocalist. Subtle, interpretive and certain melodic style. Basic guitar, enough to pass.

I look forward to playing gigs again with predominantly original material and heading for a quality vinyl pressing (good enough material) and a free MP3...it's the modern world we deal with, we try and reach people in whatever format...website beckons...

Don't look as good as Cohen at 34. I have no pictures on my hard drive but thought Lenny was a suitable enough frontman.

I don't do heavy metal or fox-hunting but appreciate certain albums by certain bands which have transcended the form (the best always do, I think you'll agree).

I have been in a band before but I was just a set of hired tonsils on those occasions. I seek collaboration with talented players who could play nearly anything they chose to. I also like people like Belle & Sebastian and believe in being kind to the elderly and infirm ;-)

Jazzy leanings and the unusual most welcome.

Influences

Dylan, Brian Wilson, Smiths, Beatles,
Drake, Thompson, enjoy swagger of the Stones, Brian Eno, Blue Nile, beck, Bjork, lots of old obscure blues guys, Cole Porter, Brel, Costello...Van...Miles Davis, Marley, Meek, Spector, Bacharach & David... classic craftmanship...quite like the Fall, once a member of the Hendrix fanclub (always cheer on the dead, they can't fight their own battles...)...Hitchcock...Richman...everybody likes Zep, right? Wedding Present..

I think 'Disintegration', 'Five Leaves left', 'Time Out of Mind', 'The Doors','odyssey & oracle' are among the finest albums made...alongside a bit of Iggy, the Velvets, etc.

A lover of music whether Coltrane or a pop band excelling themselves.

I like Jazzy, unexpected chords and the unpredicability of live performance. I like feel, I respect passion.

Not interested in pretty faces (depends on gender and context, having said that), aspire to excellence through work-rate.

We really could be here all night...
