ABOUT

We're 5 women playing acoustic, melodic music with a bit of folk - a little quirky. Mainly originals with some adapted covers. Current instruments are fiddle, acoustic guitar, double bass, banjolele. Sadly we are losing our pipe player. We would welcome another woman to bring something pipey to the band (eg clarinet/recorder/tin whistle/chalumeau/flute). Good backing vocals would be a real plus. Probably the right fit is more important than the instrument. We are in our 50s/early 60s, but age isn't as important as a sense of humour and a collaborative approach to making music. We have gigs waiting and are currently promoting our first EP and about to record the 2nd. We practise around Woodbridge/Felixstowe.
