Bass player of 25 years experience, and I've played in lots of situations ranging from the Marshall demo band to session work and function bands. Everything from Jaco, Bernard Edwards, Mark King, Geddy Lee, Stuart Hamm, Billy Sheehan, Steve Harris, Louis Johnson and many more. In fact, anybody who makes the bass sound the way it should.
EQUIPMENT
I use basses that suit the situation. I mainly use Warwick thumb, but also use Musicman Stingray (fretted and fretless). Acoustic bass, Steinberger basses and Ibanez 6 string basses for studio work. Amplification is Markbass for studio and Ampeg SVT for bigger gigs.
