ABOUT

Looking to form a band as a project for writing, recording and possibly performing.

I create best when around other musicians - trading and shaping ideas.

My main instrument is guitar but I also play bass, some percussion (not drum kit) and vocals. I prefer to play with 2-3 others, keeping things tightly knit and allowing plenty of space for each instrument. Happy to swap guitar and bass duties if we have a piece we really want to play on either instrument. I plan to also do some vocals at some point in the future.

Dispatch inspire me as a band where all three members play guitar/drums/bass/vocals, writing great songs with awesome harmonies and keeping a tight sound.

Musical influences range far and wide - Incubus (up to 2004), Reef, Dispatch, Chilis (Blood Sugar era), Sublime, Antonio Forcione, Steely Dan, Black Keys (early stuff) also heavily influenced by Marty Friedman's RIP/CTO Megadeth albums and Guthrie Govan for melodic solos.

I'm looking to meet musicians who are equally happy being directed or contributing to the music in a relaxed atmosphere to share their musical inspirations and ideas, to learn and create.
