I'm a 40 something year old new to playing guitar (2 years), I can play a couple of songs - perhaps not well but I can recognise them!! I' looking for people in a similar position that just fancy getting together a couple of times a week somewhere, have a practice, learn new stuff and see where it goes. One day it would be good to say I play with a band, could be a long way off though.... I have also written a few songs of my own, some just lyrics, some guitar and lyrics which I would like to develop. I have only ever practiced on my own so the whole thing would be new to me.
