Giancarlo plays keyboards, autoharp, accordion, acoustic and electric guitar, tin whistles, mouth organ, Chinese halusi, and numerous other world instruments. In a live situation he combines these instruments using a loop pedal.
As well as performing under his own name he has performed and recorded under the names:
Lint - a solo, studio based project creating multi instrumentation and vocal harmony to create original music.
Oracle John - live and recorded self written folk songs performed with an autoharp.
Go cranial - experimental music and soundscapes by the artist.
Before going solo Gian was a keyboard player in a band and has performed at Birmingham Artsfest in Centenary Square, other music festivals and venues around West Midlands and The West Country.
As an ongoing practice Giancarlo has collaborated and recorded (in his home studio) with numerous musicians and singers, refining his producing and engineering skills.
He has also performed as part of the Much Wenlock Poetry Anthology Tour (2014) playing live music which involved playing and looping acoustic instruments together.
