I sing and play flute, Uke, banjolele (although not usually at the same time;-)

I write songs from poetry

I have experience of singing rock, folk, jazz, etc and recording my own original material in a professional studio, I also enjoy recording covers on Garageband for fun and practice.

I've been lucky enough to play with highly skilled, intuitive and talented musicians from a wide range of backgrounds from classical, rock, folk, acoustic, jazz etc so I really appreciate how valuable it is to be able to busk and improvise.

Flute: I can read music but play flute by ear (it's quicker and easier;-) and can play pretty much whatever I want to play. But I particularly love playing jazz flute when I can - e.g Van Morrison's Moondance.

Very very eclectic - I love singing to, listening to and dancing to all kinds of music - Rock, pop, jazz, acoustic, folk, R&B, - Beatles, Lez Zep, Focus, Pink Floyd, Rolling Stones, The Who, U2, The Beatles, John Lennon, Kate Bush, Blondie, The Police, Annie Lennox, Cardigans, Happy Mondays, Stranglers, Clash, Grace Jones, Disco etc, Radiohead, Verve, Feist, Kasabian, Adele, Amy Winehouse, etc And much further backwards to the old Jazz standards onwards - Cole porter, Irving Berlin). Folk ballads include My Lagan Love, She moves through the Fair, etc etc etc
