Hi there :)
I increasingly have the notion that the one-man acoustic gigs that I do playing country, jazz, blues and folk stuff would go over well if I could also offer the places I've been playing recently (mostly pubs) a band that backs what I do.
I always play a mixture of covers and original material and I try to be as musically adventurous as I'm able to be given the constraints of my abilities. I pretty much always get rebooked so the adventurousness seems to be paying off!
Anyway, if you're a bass player or a drummer and would be up for some paid work, let me know and we can get a few rehearsals in and start getting out to play. I have one or two piano/keys guys I can call on but if you're a pianist or keys player (especially a Hammond or a Rhodes) and think it sounds like your kind of thing, get in touch :)
I'm after being able to do between 2 and 4 gigs a month really.... working but not trying to make it a full time job. The music i play is a mix of covers and originals.
Must have own gear and transport and be prepared to help out setting up and packing away.
