I have been playing drums for around 12 years now and have both live gigging and studio experience.
I have mainly been playing with a covers band for the past few years doing corporate events, wedding receptions, parties etc so I'm looking to get into a similar thing.
I have my own transport so can travel (within reason) to most gigs and can travel locally to rehearse.

Influences
Too many to list but main ones would be; Drumemrs: Dave Weckl, Carter Beauford, Vinnie Colaiuta etc and bands: Dave Matthews Band, Nickelback (not the heavy stuff), Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, general soft rock, funky souful bands/music with some jazz/fusion thrown in.
EQUIPMENT
Pearl Masters BRX Birch Custom, Zildjian and Sabian cymbals and Pearl hardware (with the exception of Yamaha double bass drum pedal) with Gibralter rack.
