I play blues/country/ folk music using a combination of bottleneck slide and finger picking on an acoustic guitar and I also use a stompbox, which really gives some life to the songs, especially the fast picking numbers. I am 27 and I regularly perform my own songs at gigs in London, most recently I have been playing the last few Saturdays at the main stage of Proud Galleries in Camen, but I have played all over London, especially at the special blues/folk hosted nights. I am looking for a partner, with an aim to create good songs with vocal harmonies, I already have new stuff written to get working on, but hope you have some stuff as well. Ideally I am looking for a female singer, because I like the contrast of the male and female voice, especially on good folk, blues and country style songs. But of course if a guy comes with a good voice obviously I am not going to turn anyone away. Looking to get rehearsing, recording and gigging asap. I will be continuing to play solo regularly, so perhaps come and see me at a gig??? just message me and lets get this going.
