Hi! I'm Gary, a seasoned bassist with over 30 years of experience playing live and recording with various bands. My journey has taken me through pub gigs, club nights, and functions, with a strong focus on covers spanning multiple genres—from rock classics to funk grooves and modern hits. Bass has been my lifelong passion, and I pride myself on bringing energy, reliability, and musical precision to every performance. I'm on the lookout bands to collaborate with and keep the music going in London, Surrey and beyond.

Regular gigging experience with pub, club, and function bands across London, Surrey and surrounding areas. Previous recording experience includes studio sessions for original compositions and polished cover arrangements. Reliable and adaptable, I’ve had the pleasure of playing with bands featuring a variety of styles, ensuring a solid groove for every setlist.

Open for evening and weekend gigs. I’m always happy to rehearse and fine-tune sets for the best live experience.

Too many to mention, but all the greats—Geddy Lee, John Entwistle, Chris Wolstenholme, Jaco Pastorius, Rob Trujillo, and more. My favorite bassist is Oli Riedel, whose style and groove resonate deeply with me. Having spent the last 15 years playing in covers and function bands, I take influence from the bassists I’m replicating, adapting my playing to match their techniques and nuances to bring authenticity to every performance.
