Hi! I figure a good way to put the feelers out for bandmates is probably to just release some songs I've written as a demo and people who like the sound can get in touch. As such, I'll leave a link at the bottom for you to listen. If you like the songs, or even just the sound, then just reach out. It's easier this way rather than trying to describe it and risking a poor explanation.
For those who want to get in touch, I'll give a few details about myself. I don't have a car, or a license, so I won't be able to lug stuff about, nor have any visitors due to my living situation, although I DO have an Orange CR120 in a cupboard somewhere that I got dirt cheap on Gumtree ages ago, so I can keep up in a band setting, I'll just need to lug the big bugger around on the bus. I'm a full time student at Glasgow Caledonian and a full time carer for my grandfather, so I don't have a hell of a lot of free time at the minute, but both those situations won't last more than a couple of years (as sad as that might be in the latter case.) I'm 19, for what that's worth.
For any guitarists: I have a couple guitars and a decently loud spare Orange 1x10 I bought for the purpose of fixing (which I did) and selling at some point, although I haven't done that yet, so if any guitarist would like to get in touch but is stuck with a dodgy Hohner, low-end Squire or other guitar, and only have a practice amp, I can give you a lend of a guitar and amp, as long as you're happy playing a Fender Jazzmaster with a dodgy pickup switch that needs rewiring (I'll do that whenever, since I have a soldering iron at home), a Fender MIM partscaster that needs its action and intonation adjusted. I also have a Vintage VS6 SG clone tuned to A# standard for more doomy guitar parts (a la Boris or Electric Wizard).
I think that's everything. I'm a decent vocalist so that isn't essential, but there's no harm in getting in touch anyway!

Note: I just recorded at home using my laptop, although they're only instrumentals because I live in a tower block and can't write and record vocal parts lest my neighbours kneecap me. These demos are about a year or two old and the project files are long gone; as such, I don't have the multitracks and the mixes are pretty dodgy, but they are only demos.
