FANTASTIC OPPORTUNITY TO JOIN PREMIUM SHOW BAND
Looking for the following musicians for the following instruments based in and around London.

WE ARE ALSO LOOKING FOR ONE OF THESE MUSICIANS TO ACT AS BAND LEADER. PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOU THINK YOU WOULD BE UP FOR THE TASK!
Time, Money, and ALOT of hard work has gone into the planning of this brand new show band which is set to be the biggest on the scene (especially in the Essex/ London area) and we have come to our last yet most important task in the process.....finding a band leader along with musicians and singers.
We call it a Show Band as this will not just be musicians and singers making music. We want high energy performers who can really entertain a crowd. Think CONCERT rather than wedding function band. Music will range from Motown to modern day pop. There will be a lot of Jewish weddings also so there will be lots of fun klezmer music also.
we need A BAND LEADER who not only is a fantastic musician but someone who can lead the band in rehearsals and also on the night. We need someone with great confidence and with a special spark and someone who feels comfortable helping to create modern/ funky arrangements for the band.
We need commitment for this and would appreciate no time wasters please!!
WHEN WILL YOU BE NEEDED AND WHAT IS THE PAY?
We will need 14 musicians/ singers for a demo at first....and we will need dep musicians for our books also.
The musicians/ singers we use for our demo will be required for the following in Jan/ Feb (dates tbc) :
REHEARSAL - this will be an a full day of rehearsing 6-10 songs for the showreel to be led by the band leader. Chart for musicians will be sent out prior to this. Singers will be required to do around 1 song each + harmonise on other songs + basic moves (LUNCH IS ON US!)
RUN THROUGH: all musicians/ singers will be required for 2-3 hours the day before the demo is to be filmed for a final run through
FILMING OF SHOWREEL: we are having a professional production company record a top notch showreel for the website. We will be happy to provide copies of individual performances for singers/ musicians to use for their own use also as way of saying thank you for giving us your time!
PAY:
For the demo an expenses fee of £25 will be paid.
Per gig £300 will be paid to all musicians/ singers and more for the band leader.
Please note, if you are selected to be either in our demo or on our book of dep musicians it is because we love your work and because you are most suitable for what we are looking for and want you to be on board with us for the long term! Please only apply if you think you can commit fully to the rehearsals and demo recording.
WHAT WE ARE PROVIDING:
Firstly, we are financing the setting up of this band along with all promotion so please understand this is a serious project that we are putting our all into.
At first we will need all members to show commitment by attending the rehearsal and showreel recording. We will then be launching the website/ showreel and then the promotion can begin. We will ask you to sit tight for a very short period whilst we do our thing and get gigs booked! To give you confidence heres what we will be doing:
Launching a website ready for when the video demo/ showreel is recorded
Having a launch/ wedding show for brides to come to. This will be the bands 1st performance! (paid of course)
We will be exhibiting at other wedding fayres also
We have local newspapers already waiting to run articles
We will be paying for advertisement in wedding magazines
Social Media
We have many wedding/ events planners who will be putting us on their books
We also have huge contacts in the Jewish community to help boost our band for Jewish weddings.
