ABOUT

Calling all (relatively experienced) musicians! ....My names Tom, I've recently put up a bunch of demo's for a load of songs onto soundcloud, as a result of this I've now got a record deal!! .....So step on up friendly people!! I'm looking for a:

DRUMMER? BASSIST? KEYS PLAYER? GUITARIST? OTHER!? ....multi-instrumentalists very welcome! And people that can sing are also very welcome. It's more important that your of a like mind, I'm from an arty background, I'm into playing around with genre's, I'm going to be working hard on this record and I'd want you to as well..... There may be money to be made in the future. I'm gay! (so those of you who don't like that need not look here)! :-) Having said that I think It's important to say I'm 28, I'm open to all ages, dress styles!!, races, and genders, i like open-minded professional people.

A lot of these songs are quite old, some of them are very badly recorded, and for almost all of them I'm playing all the instruments myself. I consider myself to be a songwriter and an artist (I'm a painter as well), so when you listen to the link to my music try and get past the general 'sound' as far as what genre it might be in and listen to the song arrangements, these are all demo's. I want to step it up a gear with my first album production-wise and I think it might sound quite different, with some new songs, (that i want help to write with other people), quite Radiohead-ish maybe. For the album I'm including recordings of loads of instruments (harp, brass, strings, clarinet, whatever), but the live set-up is what I need musicians for.

I want to be playing around with loop-pedals, samples, electronic pads for drum kits, vocal harmonies, all kinds of stuff, I'm pretty adaptable as far as writing goes and I usually end up writing towards what set-up I have. I think It's more important that we share similar ideals visions and get on as humans. Thanks!
