ABOUT

After a 5 year sabbatical away from the limelight and having recently moved from Portsmouth back to my Native Newcastle, I am looking to reform my band of original music, Free From Gravity.

Previously a Classic Rock, originals band, it has come on and now it is Rock Orchestra.

Currently the only person in the band is me. So I am looking for the following

Keyboard player – who can play orchestral type strings and more
Lead Guitarist – Think Gilmour type solos
Rhythm Guitarist – Magnum style Chuggy Guitars
Drummer
Bass Player
Violin
Cello

Now I have to warn you, I expect any musician to perform. We put on a show not play music. That puts a lot of people off because most musicians want to hide in the background – if that is you, then you are definitely not for this band – sorry!

Style of music is what I call "Kick Assed Chilled Out Rock - Soft Rock With Attitude, with a heavy orchestral influence" - Influences are Pink Floyd, The Eagles, The Who, Mana, Magnum to name a few.

In the past I have released an album (“Step Into The Sunlight” and one EP - "Saints and Sinners" which has had some amazing reviews and I have a regular small gig In Italy where I am hoping to acquire the services of an Orchestra.

This is an original music band so we do not play covers.
