Frustrated Folk singer/ Guitarist... Been playing in a Alt-skiffle band to long, and frustrated by the politics of four people all wanting to do things there own way.. But I have gigged around pubs etc a bit, so have some experience of performing. What I would like to do is folkyish duet work, with a fiddle player... mixing trad stuff with upbeat more contemporary things to fit with a pub audiance... In all seriousness I am thinking maybe 1+ gig a week to bring in some disposable income...

Influences
I am thinking Waterboys, Saw Docs, Deacon Blue, Tanita tikarum, Saw Docs, World party, kind of stuff; with contemporary songs (paulo nutini, Stornoway etc)... Half a Dozen trad ballads thrown in.... I Love me acid croft stuff (shoeglenifty etc) and like the idea of blending that style onto the end of songs...
