I am a pianist primarily and enjoy playing and listening to various different styles of music including jazz, blues, classical, rock, death metal, funk, country, reggae among others. I am proficient in piano and keyboard and have been playing for about 20 years. I have predominantly focused on classical, but recently (5 years or so) have been exploring jazz, blues, improvisation etc. I played drums and keys in a band for a short time but this stopped due to personal reasons. I was also part of an orchestra when I was younger, playing percussion instruments including: timpani, glockenspiel, xylophone etc. I am looking to expand my repertoire and style of playing with like minded people. I've recently been accepted into Hull University to study Music Performance and was hoping to connect with other musicians in that area.

Influences
I have several main influences. When I was growing up, I was introduced very early on to classical music including beethoven, mozart, grieg etc. But I also learnt about Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Queen which really inspired me. My parents really helped me by showing me different styles of music. They themselves are musicians and wanted me to follow in their footsteps and pursue music.

EQUIPMENT
I have a Roland Keyboard, a smaller keyboard, an acoustic guitar, harmonica, a melodica, kalimba. I haven't got any amps or anything like that. My pianos/keyboards have built in speakers.
