Flinch are a established Brighton based band with 2 vocalist, 1 guitarist, Bass and Drums (but not for long) and we require a experienced drummer as our current drummer is leaving these shores in August. Our music can be described as alternative heavy rock, think the illegitimate offspring of TOOL, PRIMUS with a bit of Faith No More. We use a number of time changes and complex drum patterns so a high playing ability is essential. Song writing is very much a band effort with everyone contributing to the process and even though there will be a requirement to learn our existing songs (although there will be some flexibility as individual expression is important) there will be plenty of opportunity to write new material.
If you would like to explore something which is outside 4/4 and is a challenge then drop me a line, however there will be a cross over period between now and August where our existing drummer can help out/show parts etc.
Age and image is not important but ability is (but just so you know most of us in the band are in our early 30’s).
