ABOUT

Looking for Musicians to form an Original Music Band (Live-Ready Focus)

Hey! I’m a vocalist and guitarist based in Wakefield/Leeds, I write original music that blends experimental rock, funk, and indie. I’m looking to form a serious band focused on performing original songs live, not just jamming or doing covers.

I already have a batch of songs written and ready to rehearse. My influences include Jeff Buckley, Royal Blood, Pink Floyd, and Squid. I’m aiming to get tight quickly and start gigging soon.

I’m currently looking for:
– Drummer
– Guitarist / 2 Guitarists (I will be playing guitar but rhythm or not I would hope we could share the job of them both)
– Bassist
– Any other instruments that could fit into anything are welcome, it would be awesome to get something different, like sax, violin, piano, anything.

Also if anyone can sing too I would love to have different voices on tracks and in performances, I'm not looking to be "the lead person" or anything.

Looking for creative, reliable musicians who care about songwriting, arrangement, and putting on a killer live show. Open to input, but keeping the focus on original material.

Influences

Alot of my influence sheds from Radiohead like every other band, however I'm quite into Black Midi, Black Country New Road, Squid, and a smaller artist Andy Shauf. I've been making more quiet jazzy/funky sorta stuff, as well as harder more rocky influenced music.
