ABOUT

Hi. I am Fey Pink. I am an Alternative Singer/Songwriter with a wealth of experience in bands and in the studio. I have excellent timing and musicality. Until last year I was the front woman for The Mysterious Freakshow. I have taken the last year out to reflect and write and I am now back with a wealth of new material and influences. I am looking to set up a live electronica band. I already have a very accomplished female drummer on board but I am looking for a DJ or Electronica producer to join our ensemble. I would also be interested to hear from anyone who are skilled in keys, piano and/or synth. I love Balkan beats so anyone with similar love should definitely apply (whatever your instrument!). I have lots of contacts within the music industry across the UK and beyond. I am also the curator of Exeter's infamous Steampunk Yule Ball. I am particularly interested in incorporating female musicians/producers into this ensemble - howver, am open to requests and ideas from both genders.

I love music in all its forms but particular influences are Siouxsie and the Banshees, Bjork, Sinead O'connor, Manu Chao, Electro-swing, Anything Balkan Beaty, Asian Dub Foundation, Nitin Sawhney, The Clash, Nina Simone, Portishead, Tricky, The Prodigy, The Gossip, The Levellers, The Cure, Massive Attack ... the list is never-ending. I am always open to new influences and sounds.
