ABOUT
Callam and Aidan were discussing Aidan's previous band echo. From this discussion the idea of forming a new band of their own quikly emerged. A quik problem emerged and that was the problem of a vocalist and a bassist. After asking a few people about the position of bass they came across a new musician to instrument and hired Joe. This then left the task of finding a singer. After weeks of searching for a singer and the bands first gig approaching things looked bleak. This sort of changed when Joe asked Murf for as i can remeber the forth or fifth time, but unlike the other times he finally accepted a position in the band. As a full band we started off learning two or three covers before getting bored with that and started to move onto wrting our own material. At first we lived up to our name, as all four of us had a creative block and/or unable to think of anything. This period led to most of the band at some point or another being on some form of probation. The songs that were recorded from our history have been recorded and several of them are those on the main page. Failing With Flying Colours are currently still in the rehersal studio creating new music with a possible recording session in view. We are also planning several gigs so Halifax and the surrounding areas get ready for us!
