Newly formed experimental noise/no-wave project seeking guitarist.
The band plans to focus on intense, textural music drawing from noise, no-wave, psychedelic and free jazz traditions, with attention to dynamics, listening, physicality and commitment to a shared direction.
We are looking for a guitarist who can play both sparse and overwhelming, enjoys improvisation and non standard song structures and is interested in music that feels ritualistic rather than conventional.
We currently rehearse weekly, on weekday evenings, at Attic Studios. We fall in a range of ages up to mid-40s, mature players are preferred, but openness and compatibility matter most.
