I've played bass and sung backing & lead vocals in gigging bands for 25 years. After a pretty horrendous couple of years, I'm at last looking for a new project. I've played many styles of music, including quality pop, rock, prog, indie, Latin, jazz, folk, some reggae/ska and my own material (around 30 songs), though I've become rather bored with blues.
I have a fairly comprehensive set of equipment, including full PA, and I'd be prepared to travel up to around 25 miles for rehearsals. My main aim is to find a gigging band or a set of experienced musicians whose aim is to gig. I'm in this for fun; money and genre are far less important to me than commitment, a good band atmosphere, a decent and mixed repertoire and a strong desire to play well - and gig occasionally.
