I am mainly an electric guitar player, I have been playing for about 3 years, I can play to a grade 8 standard and higher, I also have very wide theory knowledge and consider it a big interest of mine. I have experience in studio recordings and gigs, though not too much, I have a place at Leeds Conservatoire to study Jazz Guitar, and I studied and passed the triple music course + A level music at college. I also have about 7 years experience in music production, the first few completely self taught. I started playing bass guitar when I was about 10, and can play to a pretty high standard but I'm much better at electric guitar. I also have taught myself a couple other instruments like the ocarina most recently, I can also play violin very basically.

Influences
I'm very influenced by early progressive rock bands like King Crimson, Caravan, and Genesis as that is the music I've listened to all my life. I take a lot of influence from 60s and 70s fusion as well, with John McLaughlin and Frank Zappa being my biggest single influences. I also love a lot of mid 20th century jazz and many musicians of the era. I listen to a lot of rock, funk and folk music as well, and am very competant in those genres in particular.
