ABOUT

Hip hop vocalist. Lyrics for the most part written. Seeking to join with artists in Leicester who would like to do what I now believe can be "called old school" Rap Metal in the vein of Linkin Park, HED PE, Disturbed etc. I very much came out of the Nu Metal and Gangster Rap influences of 90's America and I come from the states myself. Also very influenced by Power and Black metal and really looking for someone who can sing beautifully and on pitch (I'm rubbish, although I do get some nice melodies out here and there.) Would be nice to work with a female or a male in the higher octave range who uses falsetto. I'm practising harsh vocals and "screaming" as well and aim to deliver a mix of emceeing and harsh vocals over someone else's pretty melodics. I like a bit of shred and enjoy it when everyone gets to stick there influence in. My recordings have been poor quality at home but I can write a rap about anything and deliver it well! Looking to have fun and just see where things go(sounds like a dating advert I know).

Influences

Metal and Rock: Anthrax and Dio are my number one longtime metal influences. Korn, Linkin Park, System. Pretty much everything out of the Nu Metal movement. Iron Maiden, Saxon, Grim Reaper, Satan (the band from Newcastle, not Old Nick himself.) Dimmu and Cradle. Just a few.

Rap: I don't listen to rap as much as I write it these days, but I've spent a lot of my younger years listening to Ice Cube, 2 Pac, Bone Thugs, Eazy E, things like that. In later adolesence I was influenced majorly by the Juggalo movement and ICP and Twiztid were a huge part of my youth. These days its Non Phixion and Jedi Mind Tricks, Immortal Technique and things like that.

In general I love all music and I'm always open to give something new a listen and incorporate techniques.
