ABOUT

I’m Emily (Hi!), based in Stockport but no issues travelling for sessions and gigs.

Mezzo soprano
Pop/country/rock/R&B vocals but like to experiment (skandi music influence)
I write lyrics and feel very comfortable performing original tracks

I’ve sung lead vocals (and played rhythm guitar) in a fair few bands since I was 15, writing original indie/rock stuff with a 4-piece band and playing larger festivals, but also playing in several cover bands and an Irish folk/trad/Americana group at pubs and clubs across Manchester, Cardiff, Oxford and Melbourne, Aus.

Music took a backseat since covid, just writing on my own or with a good friend who produces and plays with several bands based in Leeds. I have a really broad taste in music, a lot of influences from DnB to bluegrass to indie and more experimental artists.

I have the time to dedicate to writing, rehearsals, studio sessions and live gigs
