ABOUT

Hello! I'm a musician in her early 20s looking for bands to sing and play bass with in the Leeds/York/Harrogate area.
I am an ex-classical and choral singer with around 16+ years of singing and performing experience, but am now looking to move in to the pop/funk/rock/jazz realms - I'm looking for some gig opportunities and hopefully some bands to join!
I read music very well, am excellent in rehearsal situations and really want to get some live experience under my belt. I'm open to playing and singing all genres (apart for hard-rock and metal) and trying out anything.

Influences

I have a huge range of influences: the musicians that I hope to play and sing like in the future are mostly in the funkier realms (Jamiroquai, Thundercat, Louis Cole, Parcels, Vulfpeck, Grace Jones), but I also love jazz (Jaco Pastorius, Esperanza Spalding, corto.alto)
I'm also a big fan of more rock stuff like U2, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Simple Minds, Evanescence, Tears for Fears etc.
On top of that, I have a deep love for New Wave synthier artists like New Order and Depeche Mode.
So a whole mixed bag!!
