I'm currently at Sheffield Hallam Uni, ive been playing Alto Saxophone for 4 or 5 years now and i have reached grade 5 in it. I haven't played in a band before but I am interested in taking it up. I can also (sort of) play guitar but more as a hobby. i moved on to saxophone from clarinet and i am now playing Tenor Sax as well so i can incorporate the two.

Influences
I have always admired the classic rock sax solos; i.e. Baker Street. Or the Rock/Jazz of Mark Knopflers 'Your latest trick' while he was with dire straits (to which i have the music!)

2 Alto Sax's with different Mouthpiece set ups, tenor sax with different mouthpieces, several guitars and amps ( i enjoy building the amps and effects pedals)
