Ed Meme & The Forms is looking for a new drummer, as their perfectly good drummer has decided to move to London AND sell his car!!
WE are looking for someone who isn’t committed to loads of other projects and can give us their undivided time & talent. We need someone who loves old funk such as The Meters, Keb Darge, Snowboy, The Daktaris, The New Mastersounds, The late, great Mr James Brown, Lee Fields, Sly Stone, Bootsy, Stevie Wonder, Billy Ball & the Upsetters, Speedometer, The Dap Kings.
YOU need to have the sound of the old school, and you need to have your own gear & transport! You need to be up for writing new music and playing gigs around the country. Most of all you need to be happy in the fact that Ed Meme is NOT a function band and therefore cannot pay session musicians.
In return you will be a part of the UK’s fast-growing funk phenomenon scene, be a member of a signed band with loads of interest, and have a blast. There will be the chance to play some fantastic venues, meet great people, and maybe earn a buck or two along the way.
