I’m a composer, music producer, bass and keyboard player working in TV and Film.
I'm primarily looking for musicians to record my music for films. Film recording sessions can often be rushed and don't allow for the space to collaborate, experiment and get to know each other musically. I'm interested in putting together a band / small ensemble, who have played together (at least) a few times before we turn up at the recording studio. In the next few months (Autumn / Winter 2025) I have two scores to write for which I'll need:
- Drums - a bad ass funk / jazz / soul drummer who makes my foot tap just by walking into the room
- A lead vocalist - male or female
- A versatile guitarist who can read notation quickly, play jazz bebop lines, play blues authentically, and give an rock edge when needed. (if you can only do some of these things get in touch anyway)
- I may play bass myself on the recordings but if you're a bass player that fits the above brief please do reach out.
Additionally, I produce recordings for other artists / singers / groups. I have a small recording room with decent gear, a million and one plugins and soft synths. If recording your band / songs / compositions is something you're interested in, let's chat!
