Hey, I’m Emily, a 17-year-old musician from Oxfordshire, England.
I’ve loved music for as long as I can remember. I’ve been singing since I was around 4 or 5, and it’s always been something that just came naturally to me. Over time I picked up keyboard as well, and more recently got into drums, which is where a lot of my focus is now, especially when it comes to groove and feel.
There’s just something about music that feels genuinely powerful to me, the way it connects people and creates something shared between completely different lives. It’s a big part of why I want to take it more seriously and build something that feels unique and to make real friends with others
I’m here to meet like-minded people, build genuine friendships, and hopefully form a band from the ground up. I’ve got a rough idea of the direction, but I’d rather the sound develop naturally over time. Starting with jams, early gigs, and just getting comfortable playing together, then shaping something that actually feels like us.
The kind of sound I’m drawn to is rhythmic and groove-focused, especially in rock and metal. I like strong hooks, solid structure, and parts that actually stick. At the same time, I want everyone involved to bring their own ideas into the mix so we can create something original rather than forcing a specific sound.
Main genres I’m into are rock, metal, and alt rock, along with anything that fits around that space.
