I'm a drummer been playing for 14 years, I also rap and do backing vocals, I'm 28 years old. Looking to start a new hip hop band, mixing rap vocal and classic bass lines to create something original yet familiar for people to really get into live, in true hip hop style. Anything from Beastie Boys, Sugar Hill Gang..to Tryptich, Ninja Tunes, classic pop rap made cool (liek salt and peppa).. but basically anything is open for ripping up.
I have a phenomenal bass player that shares my vision, we have been playing together for around 6 years, he's 25. We are both based in zone 1 London, looking for collaborators, ideally a rapping guitarist to keep it 3 piece, but open for any ideas too. Keyboards, DJs, backing tracks and option, but dont want too many members. 4 max.
We're not looking to get a record deal, no egos or bullsh*t here, just play great music that is alive and people will really get into... gigs gigs gigs.. then take it from there.
