ABOUT
Hey I'm Dylan, 18, and I would describe myself as primarily a metal guitarist, though I have a wide range of interests, and am currently looking for any sort of musicians to make any style of music. After all, bands like Muse and Iron Maiden didn't get where they are by trying to be someone else.
I'm generally seeking people who play instruments that are traditionally seen in rock bands, eg vocals, drums, bass guitar etc, but am open to anything, and the influences of the individual musicians do not really matter to me. Of course this would mean that the band would most likely start off with songs varying greatly genre-wise, but eventually everything would come together and we would be left with a unique, consistent sound. It doesn't really matter how skilled you are, as long as you are competent and creative.
I have never had any real lessons, and have self-taught myself the instruments I play. I have already written various songs and pieces, demos of which can be provided. Unfortunately I am unable to drive at the moment, so travelling long distances could be a problem. However I know various local practice spaces, and can travel to places such as Stafford and Walsall.
